Se estou só, quero não estar,
Se não estou, quero estar só,
Enfim, quero sempre estar
Da maneira que não estou.
Ser feliz é ser aquele,
E aquele não é feliz,
Porque pensa dentro dele
E não dentro do que eu quis.
A gente faz o que quer
Daquilo que não é nada,
Mas falha se o não fizer,
Fica perdido na estrada.
(Si estoy solo, quiero no estarlo,
si no lo estoy, quiero estar solo,
En fin, siempre quiero estar
de la manera en que no estoy.
Ser feliz es ser aquél.
Y aquél no es feliz,
porque piensa dentro de él
y no dentro de lo que yo quise.
La gente hace lo que quiere
de aquello que no es nada,
mas falla si no lo hiciere,
queda perdida en la calle.)
Fernando Pessoa
La semana pasada, en los Jardines de Sabatini, Camané nos cantó este poema de Pessoa que me gustó mucho, aunque no acabo de entender lo que significa la última estrofa.

Crazy
"When I was at SCO, people who were familiar with my music-business background used to regularly comment to me how strange it must be coming out of the music business to wind up working in the computer business since the former is so "crazy" while the latter is so "straight."
"Au contraire, I would routinely reply: the computer business (and corporate culture in general) is actually far crazier than the music business. Sure, in the music business, everyone is crazy, but they ~celebrate~ their insanity by sublimating it into writing, recording and promoting million-selling heartbreaking tunes anyone can relate to about being crazy (in love, life, or a bottle of Jim Beam), whereas in the computer business, everyone is ~just as crazy~, but they're in ~stone fucking denial~ about it -- and what's crazier than being in denial about one's own essential craziness?"
Bruce Steinberg, citado por Doc Searls.

Mucha rumba
:-P

Ay
“The historian’s task is not to disrupt for the sake of it, but it is to tell what is almost always an uncomfortable story and explain why the discomfort is part of the truth we need to live well and live properly,” [...] “A well-organized society is one in which we know the truth about ourselves collectively, not one in which we tell pleasant lies about ourselves.”
Tony Judt (1948-2010)
