Business time

Aww yeah
Girl tonight we're gonna make love
You know how I know?
Because it's Wednesday
And Wednesday night is the night that we usually make love
Tuesday night is the night we usually go to your mother's place
And I teach her how to use the video machine again
But Wednesday night is the night that we're making love

When everything is just right
You're not too tired for me after work social sport team practice
There's nothing good on tv
Conditions are perfect for making love
You turn to me and whisper something sexy like,
"I might go to bed. I've got work in the morning."
I know what you're trying to say baby.
You're trying to say "Aww, yeah. It's business time.”

It’s business
It’s business time
I know what you’re trying to say
You're trying to say it's time for business,
it's business time, oooh
It's business
It's business time
Aww ohooowoah yeah, yeah

Then in the bathroom brushing our teeth
That's all part of the foreplay, i love foreplay
Then you go sort out the recycling
That isn't part of the foreplay,
but it's still very important

Next thing you know we're in the bedroom
You're wearin' that baggy old ugly T-shirt you got from work several years ago
Mmmm, you know the one, baby
With the color stain

I remove my clothes
Very very clumsly
Trippin over my jeans 'cause I'm still wearing my shoes
But it's okay because I turn it all into a sexy dance.

Next thing you know I'm wearing absolutely nothing
Except for my socks
And you know when I'm down to just my socks
what time it is
It's business time

It's business
It's business time
When I'm down to my socks it's time for business
That's why they're called business socks, oooh
It’s business
It’s business time
Oooh, hoo hoo hoo oooh yeah, yeah

Making love
Making love for
Makin love for two
Making love for two minutes
When it's with me you only need two minutes,
because I'm so intense
Two minutes in heaven is better than one minute in heaven

You turn to me and say something sexy like, "Is that it?"
I know what you’re trying to say, girl
You're trying to say, "Aww yeah, that's it"
And then you tell me you want some more
Well, uh... I'm not surprised
But I'm quite sleepy

Mmm
It's business
It's business time
Business hours are over, baby
It's business
It's business time

Bilingual girl

Oye look who is there
(Aaaaaaaaah)

(Chorus:)
All I want is a bilingual girl to love me in both languages
To talk to me in Spanish when we are getting started
and English when we are close to the end
(Oh yes)
All I want is a bilingual girl been looking all around the
world
Everybody has to understand that two tongues are better than one

Two tongues are better than one
Two tongues are better than one

Claro que yes i wanna be contigo English or Spanish a mí me da
lo mismo
Y si tú quieres I’ll teach you a little y si no quieres también
I can say papi you can say mami
I say dinero and you say money
I say tomorrow you say mañana
I’ll see you then..

Soy una vívora soy una vívora
Con mis dos lenguas te voy enamorar
Soy una vívora soy una vívora
Con mis dos lenguas te voy envenenar
Soy una vívora soy una vívora
Con mis dos lenguas te voy enamorar
Soy una vívora soy una vívora
(soy una vívoraaaaaaaaaaa)

(Chorus )

My bilingual girl
My bilingual girl
My bilingual girl
Yo quiero my bilingual girl

I wanna be your friend and you wanna be mi amigo
Me gusta when is hot y a tí te gusta el frío
Give me a little love y yo te doy cariño
I’ll tell you when
You say tomato I say tomate
It’s Yerba Buena no Yerba mate
You lke cacao me gustaa el chocolate
(Eskiu me, what?)

Soy una vívora soy una vívora
Con mis dos lenguas te voy enamorar
Con mis dos lenguas te voy enamorar
Con mis dos lenguas te voy enamorar
Con mis dos lenguas te voy enamorar

(Chorus)

I don't care if she speaks my language
I don't care if we stay in touch
I don't care if she has an accent
Just want my bilingual girl
Don’t want no material girl

Just want my bilingual girl
Don’t want no material girl
Just want my bilingual girl
Don’t want no material girl
Just want (Just want)
Don’t want (don’t want)
Just want (Just want)
Don’t want (don’t want)

Two tongues are better that one
Two tongues are better that one
Two tongues are better that one
Two tongues are better that one

Yerba Buena

Curiosidad

Y me he perdido muchas cosas, he dejado de crecer, de aprender.

Deseos

If wishes were horses

Why'd I turn on you and say those things?
I didn't mean 'em
Wish you were bringing your love back to me
Instead of leavin'

(Chorus:)
But if wishes were horses
I'd have a ranch
Come on and give me another chance
Come on and give me
Come on and give me
Come on and give me another chance

We used to drive through the canyons
and down to where the land meets the sea
I never knew what I had back there till you
Went away from me

Repeat chorus

I was scared of standing on the edge
Of darkness looking in
I hurt you bad and now I wish
We could begin again

Repeat chorus

Wish I could turn a sad and blue, blue day
Into something good
Wish I could somehow make it go away
I wish you understood

Repeat chorus

Come on and give me
Come on and give me
Come on and give me another chance

Lucinda Williams
